What is a HOCATT® Session ...

A client will sit back comfortably on the adjustable seat and the chamber doors are closed to cover the body while the head remains outside the chamber.

​

A neck cape ensures comfort and the retention of the steam chamber contents.

​

Pure, humidified, oxygen runs through a special oxygen jet to the nose and mouth, boosting Oxygen saturation in the body during the HOCATT® session.

​

Steam and Far Infrared Rays (FIR) heat up the body. The HOCATT® has FIR pads located at the foot area and a large FIR pad behind the back area.

​

CO2 is infused in the beginning of the HOCATT® session to react with the steam and create Carbonic Acid. Carbonic Acid is one of the very few compounds that naturally, and without any side effects, increases the uptake and delivery of Oxygen at the cellular level (aka the Bohr Effect).

​

The Ozone cycle starts as soon as the CO2 cycle has ended and continues for the duration of the HOCATT® session. The ozone reacts with the steam to create beneficial compounds on the surface of the skin. Thanks to the CO2 pre-cycle, the efficacy of the ozone cycle in the HOCATT® is significantly enhanced compared to other wellness saunas.

Special Micro-Currents may be selected to stimulate the body via the hands and/or feet. This feature can be used both during a HOCATT® session and as a stand-alone. The frequencies are pre-programmed for your convenience, and there are over 100 programs to choose from!

High-Intensity PEMFs (Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Fields)* can be added to the HOCATT® session. The HOCATT® PEMF model has special PEMF coils built into the chamber walls, allowing for a HUGO™ High-Intensity PEMF driver to be connected directly to the HOCATT®.​

​

Essential Oils can be added to a special compartment within the HOCATT®‘s steam jet. The essential oils are infused with the steam as it fills the chamber, making this a transdermal application. 

​

Full spectrum color light fills the chamber. Two color stars change color randomly in multi-color crossfades. The HOCATT® utilizes all colors of the spectrum, from soothing and relaxing to balancing and energizing.

​

At the end of each session, the entire volume of steam is extracted into the large-volume activated carbon external charcoal destructor to prevent the release of the steam mixture into the room when the chamber doors are opened.
